What is Insatsu3D?
Insatsu3D is a veteran-owned advanced manufacturing company based in Elgin, Texas. We provide 3D scanning, design and reverse engineering, prototyping, and on-demand manufacturing for commercial, industrial, and defense clients.
What industries do you serve?
Dual use, Government, Automotive, Industrial Manufacturing, and R&D.
Do you offer on-site 3D scanning?
Yes. For components that cannot be shipped because of size, fragility, or sensitivity, our team performs scanning at your facility using portable EinScan systems. On-site services are available throughout the United States and internationally.
Can you reproduce obsolete or discontinued parts?
Yes. We scan existing parts, reconstruct them as production-ready CAD models, and manufacture replacements, even when original documentation is unavailable.
Do you provide custom design and prototyping?
Yes. Our engineers develop precise CAD models from concepts, drawings, or physical parts using industry-standard software. Functional prototypes allow you to validate fit, form, and performance before production.
Can I provide my own 3D model?
Yes. Send us your file, and our team will review it for manufacturability before production. Accepted formats: [STL, STEP, OBJ, 3MF].
What materials do you work with?
Additive manufacturing
- Engineering polymers: ABS, ASA, PETG, PC (polycarbonate)
- Carbon fiber composites: PA-CF, PPA-CF, PPS-CF
CNC machining
- Aluminum, brass, copper, POM, acrylic, carbon fiber sheet, PCB
Production materials
- For final production, we source standard industrial materials to meet your specifications.
Each material is selected for the application's requirements: strength, temperature, UV and chemical resistance, and dimensional accuracy.
What equipment do you use?
Our capabilities include enclosed, climate-controlled additive manufacturing with active filtration, engineered for high-performance and abrasive composite materials, and precision CNC machining for metals and plastics.
What is on-demand manufacturing?
We produce parts to your specifications when you need them, from a single component to a production run. Building to order eliminates excess inventory and reduces material waste, in line with our commitment to responsible manufacturing.
Can you support larger production runs?
Yes. We scale production to the scope of each project, and we confirm capacity and timelines during quoting.
How long does a project take?
Lead times depend on part complexity, size, material, and quantity. We provide a confirmed timeline with every quote.
